I don't normally give my reasoning but here goes.
Last 10 games A's batting .315 vs. lefts
Last 10 games Yanks batting .200 vs. rights

Pettite has only pitched 11 innings his last 3 out. He's obviously not got the arm at this time of the year like he normally does. And the biggest reason is just that the A's are a better ball club at this point. Last nights win should give them the confidence to win the World Series. If Hudson starts out the first two innings well I believe that he has a good shot at shutting the yanks out. There bats are absolutely flat right now.

I'm undecided on this game so far...but just for a contrarian view...


what about the fact that petite is such a stud when it comes to playoffs?

last nite's outcome is soooo different if the umps don't **** up those calls.

Ifinii, trust me the fact that he has been the man in the clutch for the yanks does worry me. Another thing that I'm worried about is the fact that if the game is close in the 9th, the yanks will have the man, the myth, the legend Rivera to close for them. Problem for the yanks is that they just aren't in sync right now. Yeah I agree there where a couple of bad calls yesterday but I guarantee the outcome wouldnt have changed if the calls would have gone the other way. The A's are just a dominating team right now and Hudson is a total stud. To get them as an underdog here is awesome. The yanks are living off of past success here and I'm going to take advantage of that. I can see Hudson going atleast till the 9th and I think he has a good chance to pitch a complete game. On the other side I think that Pettite will get rocked early and will be out of the game by the 4th. Middle relief is a week spot for the yanks, especially with Nelson pitching last night. Yes, I may be wrong on this, but I love my chances. Especially knowing the fact that I'm not having to give up juice.

Thans TTM, my butt is still sore from being puckered up for so long. Man what a game!

Ive learned my lesson on the unders, no more overs for me no matter what.
