Obama on The View

I saw the "highlights" of this and it is disgraceful that the President can't come to AZ to see for himself the impact of illegals (he was invited by the Governor last month) but, he has time to meet with these hags.

The presidency used to have a certain level of respect associated with the man in the office, regardless of party but, starting with our good friend Bill Clinton, the presidency has been reduced to being occupied by hicks, crooks, dimwits and star fu*kers. Obama reminds me of Bugsy. He neglects his job to do anything but, what he is supposed to do.

Remember when Obama ran the knock was he was all image and no substance. Well...what do we have...a puppet manipulated by the idiots who got us into financial trouble with Biden and Guieden leading the way.

His one-term legacy would be putting anyone but, a white male on the court but, the Republicans are so incompentent they are debating bringing Newt back from the dead. And why not as who else do they have to run for anything....is Sarah Pallin the answer?

Well he picked-up the Hispanic vote by sending the government of the US, siding with Mexico, against AZ. Anyone who reads that law understands that it simply asked people in AZ to be subject to the same law they would face in just about every nation in the world.

For the idiots who don't understand (mostly in DC) every illegal coming to the US has to have an ID once they get here and they get it through stealing ID's from citizens...mostly Hispanic US citizens.

Well let's see where this circus makes a stop next. At least if he is out of Washington he isn't giving our tax dollars away. Some people count the days until their God shows up again...we should be counting the days until China demands their money from the US. Maybe the antiques on the view can each kick in a few bucks when the US needs a bailout.

I didn't see The View. I understand they are showing a few minutes of an hour long show and are foucusing on about three minutes spent on pop culture. The rest of the time was spent on harder issues.
I am no fan of Obama as I think he has lied to us and is keeping the neocon wars going. I was against the bailouts and I don't tthink he has done enough to stimulate the economy.
On that note, why does Sarah Palin manage to get her name in the news about 3 or 4 times a week? HMMMMMMMMM

I see nothing wrong with Obama spending an hour on that show, but like you, am clear that he is not the lightning rod of change as he presented himself during the election. It is pretty clear that the same folks who owned W, now own O.

Yes...I was being sarcastic about Palin but, the point above about her being in the news is right on as she has had a taste of the national spotlight, the vacumn for someone different was filled and, no doubt, she will run...probably in 2016.

By the way that vacumn was only for something different...unfortunatley it wasn't filled by new ideas, ability to lead or a difference-maker...it was just filled by someone different.

StevieD is right...apparently only part of the show was devoted to pop culture but still, we are reduced to The View for a discussion of the "harder issues?" Of all the requests and media outlets, this is where his handlers decide to make an appearance.

The trendline on the dignity of the presidency is definetly going down...Obama is contributing but, he didn't start the decay.

I agree but I wonder if it maybe got some soccer mom's who do not watch the hard news channels interested. Probably, just wishful thinking on my part.
Speeking of Dignity of the presidency, as much as I HATE Bush I was full of pride when he went to Ground Zero and that whole period after 911. Then once we attacked Iraq and afghan, the wheels feel off. It is hard to believe how far down it has come.
