During the past fifty years in America the Neo Cons had always done it their way. Alot of white people, surely the elections will be won.

But then changes happened in America. White ppl were not the vast majority.

And what did the Republicans do about it ?

Nothing :142smilie

With the sequestration cogs now turning, in the coming weeks Congress will turn its attention to its next budget deadline on March 27, when funding for the federal government is set to expire.

Without a Continuing Resolution (CR) approved by Congress, the country could face a government shutdown in addition to the existing sequestration cuts.

House Speaker John Boehner said Friday that he intends to bring up a CR next week that would avert a shutdown ? a fight he says he would like to avoid while Congress is working to cushion the blow of the across-the-board government cuts which were set to go into effect March 1.

?I?m hopeful that we won?t have to deal with the threat of a government shutdown while we're dealing with the sequester at the same time,? Boehner told reporters after a meeting between Congressional leaders and President Obama at the White House to discuss the budget cuts.

The CR the House will consider next week will keep spending levels the same as last year, but with the caveat that sequestration would drop that level lower if those cuts are not dealt with in the coming weeks and months.

The Republican bill would also give flexibility to the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs Departments in an effort to allow them to move funding around in ways that a straight extension of government funding would not.

The CR, which would keep the government running through September, would keep government funding levels at $1.043 trillion, but because it would be subject to sequestration, the level could effectively drop to somewhere around $974 billion for the 2013 fiscal year.

House Republicans seem surprisingly galvanized around this plan, considering there was originally concern amongst conservatives that allowing any wiggle room to avoid sequestration would not be something they would support.

Rep Mick Mulvaney, R-S.C., a notable conservative, told reporters this week that he would support the strategy, and House Republicans met as a conference on Wednesday to discuss the CR, a meeting that aides said went well.

.................................................................

They will get to it if they are not on spring vacation for two weeks.

They will get to it when they pass a budget

they will get to it...........

We all know Neo Cons are trying their best to take America down the tubes.

Voters will remember this in 2014

Voters will remember this when Hillary is crowned

pity really

Chris Wallace recently scored Mitt and Ann Romney's first interview since the 2012 election, and is speaking about their reactions to losing in a preview of the exchange.

Romney was described as "shellshocked" in the immediate aftermath of his loss to President Obama, and has maintained a relative low profile since November. Wallace's interview with the Romneys will air on "Fox News Sunday."

In a preview, Wallace told Politico's Patrick Gavin that Ann feels the pain of the loss.

"I'd say he is in a better place than she is," Wallace said, reflecting on the interview. "Not to say she?s bitter ? and she enjoys her life. Look, they live on the beach, north of San Diego and a bunch of their grandkids are around. You know, they?ve got a pretty great life. But she I think feels the pain and the what-ifs and the hurt more than he does. And it comes through in the interview. There?s a lot of emotion that comes through in the interview, and she?s more open about it ? the ?what might have been."

The Fox News host said that Romney "obviously thinks he made some mistakes," but is "very defensive and very supportive of his campaign." He also said Romney pointed to a liberal media bias and a "long and expensive" primary battle as factors in the loss, but described the former candidate as "at ease" and "serene about it."

In the interview, Romney compared the experience to being on a roller coaster. "We were on a roller coaster, exciting and thrilling, ups and downs. But the ride ends," he said. "And then you get off. And it's not like, oh, can't we be on a roller coaster the rest of our life? It's like, no, the ride's over."

You notice something? From their statements it is clear their only motivation for wanting the presidency was for their own selfish reasons and feelings.

Not a word about what good things they wanted to do to make the world a better place.

They would have been a disaster.
........................................................................

Media bias had nothing to do with it. Hiding his tax returns, pseudo-job creation, the 47% stuff and the Cayman accounts did.
........................................................................

they must have had some serious bad shit going in with the cayman islands or they would have released long time ago. Guess America won that one.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Mitt Romney says his heart said he was going to win the presidency, but when early results came in on election night, he knew it was not to be.

The GOP nominee tells "Fox News Sunday" that he knew his campaign was in trouble when exit polls suggested a close race in Florida. Romney thought he'd win the state solidly.

Obama ended up taking Florida and won the election by a wide margin in the electoral vote.

Romney says there was "a slow recognition" at that time that President Barack Obama would win - and the race soon was over when Obama carried Ohio.

Romney says the loss hit hard and was emotional. Ann Romney says she cried.

The former Massachusetts governor acknowledges mistakes in the campaign and flaws in his candidacy.

But he jokes that he did better in his second run for the White House than he did the first time around - when he lost the 2008 nomination to Arizona Sen. John McCain.

He says he won't get a third crack at it.:SIB
