My, my my. Look at how the four morons above think - that immigrants will destroy our country.
They are too ignorant to know that this young country was founded entirely BY immigrants, many of whom were poor, uneducated and did not speak English..In fact you can go to North Dakota today and find towns where the most common languages are German, Norwegian and Swedish, not English. Newspapers and radio stations are in those "foreign" languages too. Well, guess what - those ND folks with the funny names and accents pump more oil and grow more food than any redneck bigot state.
And in large sections of Boston and Chicago you'll hear more Italian than English. In Miami the most common language is Spanish. In large sections of New York, you'll hear Chinese everywhere, and French is common in New Orleans.
Any many of the immigrants who built this country came in illegally. My own grandfather walked in from Canada, and it took forty years for him to become a citizen. In the meantime he raised five sons, four of whom served honorably in WWII, one of them is buried where he fell in Germany defending this country. Grandpa worked seven day weeks as a carpenter, paid his taxes, and all five of his sons worked and paid taxes.
Next week I'll be having heart surgery, and I've chosen the best cardiothoracic surgeon available. He immigrated here from Viet Nam.
It's the diversity that gives our country it's strength. The diversity of folks who came with no promises except to be free and go as far as their skill and effort would take them.
And then you have assholes like Raymond, Hedge, Skulnutz and Rock who never have and never will amount to a pile of stinking horse shit.
