Had a real tough time finding games I liked this week. As such just playing these two.

Minnesota @ Michigan (-3.5)

Gophers have to prove that they belong in the Big 10 elite and like last season, it will be trying to jump over the Michigan hurdle in the Battle for the Little Brown Jug.

Read tons of good info on this game here at Madjacks and don?t think I can add much more other than I think Michigan?s defence rises to the challenge in the Big House.

Concern is Michigan?s past performance as short chalk (13-26 as a fave of 3.5 to 10 pts and 4-9 as fave less than 5 pts).

On the other side of the ledger:

Gophers are 3-10 as a road dog and 3-8 vs. Mich

Arizona (+10) @ UCLA

Going with the ?other? Stoops for my 2nd choice of the weekend.

Coming off a bye Wildcats hopefully put that late Wash St. loss behind them.

Arizona has hung tough so far this season and maybe the week off will help ?Cats get their offence going and possibly on the ground as Bruins allowing 248 rush yards per game (league average is 148.9).

Arizona as a dog less than 14 pts off a bye is 10-1.

gl mike. stoops has already done an incredible job at arizona up to this point. soon, theyll be the ones laying the chalk and beating up on the pac10. value definitely there with a team that is still learning how to win, yet very competitive in the process. dont blame ya for jumping on michigan either. short price to lay with a team that is built to stop the run
