So much for the winning streak. Very disappointing day yesterday. Not to mention the Fried Coke sucked.

I love the card this week but feeling a tad gunshy. Nonetheless:

Texas A&M Aggies (2 units)

Kansas State Wildcats (1.5 units)

Baylor Bears

Only concern about K-State is Freeman committed to Nebraska and they won't be afraid to throw a cheap shot. This was one of the top 10 QB's in the nation and he originally committed to Nebraska and switched to K-State. I saw this kid play in HS and beat my wife's brother's team in the Misery state playoffs... okay, reaching, but Josh Freeman is the real deal... he beat me last week by going off againts Okie State... his dad played in the NFL... he will play in the NFL as well, but he's only a true frosh. Watch out for K-State in the future, but the kid faces a tough taske this week.

I saw Freeman as a soph in HS and he's got amazing abilities that NFL scouts will love...
He's 6-6 and 240 pound with a serious rocket for an arm... can already throw a football 70 yards in the air. He'll be awesome, but he's still only 18 and should have trouble this weekend. I still don't want to bet against the kid getting double digits because he's a freak speciman. Just my $.02, but I was crushed KU didn't get him and I'm sure Nebraska hates the kid for not being a Husker after he committted. Probably the #1 QB for the NFL as a true frosh... sick talent, but very young. This kid will be a huge NFL QB someday... mark my words... I have never seen an arm, like Freeman's arm.. high school, college or NFL. Kid is the real deal, but he's still only 18... keep this in mind as he'll most likely be a #1 pick in the draft.

Anyone wanting to wager on Freeman's future, they need to watch how far the kid can throw a football, it's unreal... best long ball I've seen since Bradshaw almost. He's a freak, but going from HS to College is a huge jump. However, watchout for this kid... he's honestly disgustingly talented throwing a football.

Screw my alma mater after I screamed at our recruited for passin on this kid. He's going to take K-State to NEW levels in a couple years. Remeber my words, #1 draft pick... without a doubt!:SIB

By the way, my alma mater is Kansas and we screwed up not giving this kid money to sign... he's going to be the absolute bomb... unfortunate they are starting him as a true frosh and 18 years olds... I know my football and he's the absolute bomb... he's too young to dominate college ball now, however, K-State is banking on his future, just like Nebraska promised the kid he'd start for 3 years...honestly he's sick!!!

Thor, probably overhyping a tiny bit, however, watch what this kid does and then judge me. I also know his family and the de-committted from Nebraska for a reason... he's honestly the real deal... let's wait a couple years and see what happens before you say :mj07: :142smilie

I'm anxious to hear the "reason" Freeman de-committed from Nebraska. Early playing time is just that, but to learn the WCO from a Super Bowl HC and have other coaches on the NU staff that have experience at the NFL level, to me is more of a draw then getting to play during your freshman season.

Now, on to capping. Nebraska's front 7 vs KSU's offensive line is a mismatch. KSU is starting a bunch of players getting only their second college start and going against NU's front seven is much different than going against Okie State's. The only reason to side with KSU is Nebraska's conservative play calling in their other two road games against USC and Iowa State. Callahan ran the ball, ran the ball and ran it more, but I think that was to keep the opposing offenses off the field. KSU's meager offense doesn't compare to USC and Iowa State.
Nebraska covers BIG

Nah, man... I was just bustin your balls...

I actually agree with you, in terms of talent... Not much to dislike about 6'6'' guys with rocket arms. Will be interesting to see if he can develop at KSU, though... I am not sold on that coaching staff, at all...
