Where it is real F ing COLD
Well it is off season for me and I guess I want to keep a thread about off season moves and opinions. Work is slow so I have nothing better to do.

1. I would love to see the Vikings trade #28, I know he lead the league in rushing but his fumbles have cost us too many times and it's to the point that I have had dreams of him fumbling. (which is ridiculous, think I would have more important issues?) Maybe Dallas makes a play for him this year since their running game wasn't very good? Peterson is still a great running back and would benefit from a better offensive line and to no fault of his Norv Turner can't call an effective game plan with him, too many players around the line of scrimmage so if they don't run they are coming after Teddy and forcing him to throw deeper. Their passing game much better with Mckinnon in there, I just think it is time for the Vikes to move on and give the reigns to Teddy. Note: this isn't going to happen, the team loves him and want him to be in new stadium, so they better add a few road graters so he has some holes cause i couln't imagine.

2. San Fran hired Chip Kelly, why? Is it just because of Kap? He sucks and is gettin older, it takes really really young QBs to run his system cause it won't take long for them to take a pounding. Plus teams have adjusted to his style and it pisses off his players so they have to get rid of them. I mean what free agent defensive player would want to play for him know they would be on the fiels a lot? Media is talking about Kelly's previous record but that was with Fatty's guys and Kelly ran the team into the ground with his guys. He alienates some of his players. I don't think the NFL is for his style.

3. I see some teams are hiring guys who were coaches under the coaches they just fired. Does this work? I'll have to look. I know when the Vikings fired Childress they hired Frazier which was like hiring the same philosophy. I think it is better to just clean house and start fresh but what do I know?

doug pederson

I have been hammered by snow and work the last two weeks, so I have no idea and am going to ask you is this the same Doug Pederson who was the qb at Iowa State some years ago?
