I agree Chain Saw. I think the weathermen (weatherladies) are on the take from the local grocery stores. They always predict more than we get. :nono:

I'm a mgr at a grocery store, and am amazed how sales increase w/the threat of snow. Granted it's good for business, but the insanity factor is bizarre to me. I mean, our sales before the last storm exceeded our sales the day before Thanksgiving.

And yes, it's great to see those idiot weatherpeople outside, esp when the conditions are really bad, risking life and limb, to show how devastating the storm is; where, if it's really THAT bad, we can just open the window.
