how in the world did they come back and win this one vs Tenn? where can I watch the 2nd half of the game...anyone know a website or something...

I always check NBA mock drafts and stuff to check on Ron's status, and he is a later 2nd round possibility on most of them.....and that was before this tournament when he has played lights out, soI am sure most people know about him now. I've been a fan of his even at his days at BG since he went to school right near the house I grew up in.......I hope he makes it

They came back because it was eight on five. Foul, foul foul. Poor Tenn had no chance 5 on eight.

35 ft's to 17 overall (worse ratio in the second half)

something stunk in san antonio because memphis shot 21 ft's to 10 for am

reminded me of an nba game, once a team gets behind (memphis-ohio state) they get ALL the ticky tack calls to get them to the line to keep them in the game.

I guess I should keep my mouth shut but I said that when you start making excuses for your team you are in trouble. As a capper that means before and after the game. Here's how I saw it. Tenn thought they had the game won coming out in the second half. They played like it didn't matter When the game got below 10, Tenn panic-ed for a couple of min and the refs as usual started helping the team that was showing the most heart. If you remember, if Tenn had hit the fouls they got when the game was around 14 they would have had at least a 10 or 12 point lead at the 10 min mark. When the game was tied, Tenn came to life but the dye was cast. No way should OS have made that come back, but they did and the rest is history. Any other team that won yesterday with a 17 point half time lead would have killed OS. The only thing I can give OS credit for is that they came out ready to play in the second half. They have still got to get past the next one.

basketball the officiating is 95% perception.

so ill is a perceived to be a great defensive team, they hand check, grab, push opponents from where they want to go....and rarely get called for those "fouls".....last night their opponent kansas is more known for offense. the whistle was blowing on one end of the court for any hint of contact, while at the other end it was no blood no foul.

ohio state got that exact treatment at the start of the second half and was in the bonus within 5-6mins i believe.

you are correct, ohio state came out more prepared in the second half, but thier run was partially fueled by the refs giving them the early ticky tack calls.
