was taking my daughter and her friend back to the friends house tonight, and go figure (2 teenage girls in the car and the topic of discussion turned to boys.....LOL)

well, her friend goes on to say that she thought Adam (my boy child) was SO hot the first time she saw him, until she found out he was only 10 years old. (he has since turned 11, is she still allowed to think he's hot??)

he turned red with embarassment when i told him about it when i got home ..... (imagine that....and 11 year old boy with no interest in girls ;) )

i think he should feel complimented....he thinks he should be embarassed. what does it matter that she *abandoned* her opinion once she found out how much younger he was?

Franky, don't get me wrong here.... i'm not "displeased" by his embarassment.... i already have a boy crazy teenager, the last thing i need is a munchkin that is interested in girls!!! i was just thinking along the lines of how he is embarassed now, but in 3 years, when he is 14 and a girl is 17, would/should he still think along the same lines if she thinks he is hot? (is this an embarassed now and impressed later type of thing) or should older girls not be interested in younger boys??

Mama,
Still here, checked in one last time before Im done.
Basically you hit it in a nutshell, its an age thing. When he is 14-16 he will probably start to get it from all the attention, and watching how his friends react will have a big impact on how he will also react. How he actually feels however, may not coincide with how he reacts. Anyways, without getting too deep, I think his reaction was normal, and I also did not think you thought it was bad either, just commenting on your original question...................

Now how Freelancc would react is a whole different story :scared :142smilie

Good night all>
