Texas recently won 8-4 over Toronto after scoring 10+ runs. Before that they were 1-14. THey started the season off 0-4 after scoring 10+runs then lost 10 straight before posting a win. Today they beat NYY 13-3. Tomorrow the Yanks toss out Mussina on the mound who in his last 2 outings has been stellar. He is coming off a shutout vs Seattle and only gave up 2 runs at Oakland last week. His opposition is Darren Oliver, he is horrific at home with a 9-8 record and an ERA over 6 runs. I know dogs have been barking this week but this dog will be administered euthanasia. Wednesday Play of the Day Yankees -185 GIGANTIC, This is my only Play.

My butt can't stand too many more huge plays. These last two days have been brutal.

I can't believe I loaded up on Arizona tonight. I've dropped nearly five dimes in the last two nights on heavy chalk plays.

I think I caught a case of the "dumb ass" sometime Sunday.

"Somebody stop me!!!!!"

Just woke up . . . sans hangover . . . and read my comment from last night. Hope you didn't thank I was was putting your play down, Gravy. Not at all. I was just kind of laughing at myself for jumping off the high dive without checking the water depth. Seems like the best of plays haven't been getting there the last couple of days, but I am with you one this one.

Looks like an 88% play to me.

Thanks for the "heads up".

I'm with ya never caught up.. It seems like the ones that look like easy plays just haven't been coming through this week.. I got slammed the other night when I needed the Cardinals to win to cash in on a three teamer and they blew a one run lead in the ninth and then blew a two run lead in the tenth.. UNREAL!!
Someone stop the bleeding.. I'm on the Yankees also.. Good luck to all..
Does anyone like the Mariners tonight??Leaning towards a 2 teamer with the Braves on the money line... Opinions would be appreciated...

Yikes!

I have been following your plays Gravy and some of your stuff too NCU.

Damn... Yesterday a quadruple doubled up with Arizona and then added them to three big parlays.

Today I was on the Yankees but wisely ( I think) just had them as one of several equal increment bets plus the Yankees over.

Geeeeeeeez. This has been the toughest week I have had in baseball in quite some time.
The chit didn't hit the fan today.

This little chit went right through it!

Just trying to "suck it up" not be too demoralized and discouraged and just begin again tomorrow EVEN smaller.. or just take a damn break!

The thing that really discourages me the most is that even good cappers have a bad day. And maybe even bad weeks! And since I don't consider myself a capper yet but a shopper of expert opinion... no I'm not a consensus player either... when my guys who I respect and choose to follow have a bad day. SO DO I!

Damn

Damn

Damn

With admiration and respect even though I'm with you on the losing side.....

Thank you for your opinions

We are in one of those cycles where we just have to suck it in and conserve bankroll until we get through it. In order to get off the chalk I am gong to start focusing more on totals and select underdogs until this cycle plays itself out.

Today I only had two large bets . . one on CHC and CHC with NYY for the same amount so I broke even. Tonight I played OAK straight up and -1.5 for the same number of units on each. Winning both of those looks unlikely, but I will break even if OAK just wins at all.

No matter what . . . tomorrow I am going to pull my bets down to almost nothing and stay at that level until I can win two days in a row.

I think conservation of bankroll is vital right now. This cycle will play through and we will start seeing 8 - 10 names a day on Tiger's honor roll again, but we can't make it happen. Patience is difficult, but necessary.
