That would be a lovely pay off.

GL

........................................................

yeh both offenses are in the top four in the country averaging over 500 yds a game each.

Match that up with Tulsa home dog.

I think it will be a close game, so I am covering the play with the +23 1/2 points.

But the real play is for the 5 k

Lets face it. Anything can happen on Thursday night football.

Its why I gamble

And if I lose it will be 777 :SIB

you may be right

you may be right

Oklahoma?s is without doubt the superior team on both sides of the ball, especially on D, but Tulsa's potent O, home field advantage and laying a lofty 24 points is a bit dicey.

The Golden Hurricane are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a dog and play their best against top teams.

The Golden Hurricane (2-0) have averaged 559 yards -- the fourth-highest mark in the nation -- and last week gained 595 yards in a 55-47 shootout win against BYU. The problem has been a defense that's given up nearly as much -- 486 total yards and 184.5 on the ground per game. A fourth-quarter stand and five takeaways allowed Tulsa to overcome 694 yards allowed in a 55-47 victory against BYU last week.

the fourth quarter stand and five take aways sent a shiver down my spine when I read it.

Maybe Oklahoma will be looking ahead. Maybe they won't play their best game. Maybe Tulsa's offense is as good as advertised.

Game Summary -

0-1 ........ -777

YTD - 8-8..... -1691

Thought the play had a good chance in the first half. Alot of early emotion by Tulsa.

Tulsa's best cornerback intercepts and then pulls a hamstring on the play. Does not return to a much maligned defense.

Then the nose tackle for Tulsa goes down.

Second half Oklahoma just too much power game , wears Tulsa down and stomps them.

Sucks not to cover the 23 1/2 points with a offense like that of Tulsa. Not impressed with their QB, as he made many mistakes through the course of the game.
