There are some definite politics going on! They south region of the Big 12 is corrupt. They buy the tournament and NCAA headquarters away from us. Then Missouri gets clobbered on every offensive possession in the last minute and ahalf today and there wasn't one whistle. We were screwed out of a tournament title, Kansas got screwed out of a 1 seed. Texas nor Oklahoma deserve a 1 seed and they will both get knocked out before they reach the final four.
Stewy- Come back to reality. George Bush is not an alien and the CIA did not kill JFK. They got manhandled by OU, Arizona and Oregon and they did not have to play the Big XII South twice.
Hornsfan .... you can't honestly think you deserved the #1 seed over Pitt or Kansas can you?? Oh and by the way scoreboard for KU over Texas 90-87 if you remember correctly. Actually I like UT and they probably will go to the final 4 now with regional in San Antonio and all .... however they got a major break the way things turned out .... and that happens sometime so now can the Longhorns do something with that break?? Texas pays 20 million to steal the Big 12 tournament and the Longhorns can't even win a single game in their own backyard. I seriously doubt that OU and Texas both deserve 1 seeds. If your gonna steal the tournament atleast the locals could show up instead of setting single day record lows in attendance. Every single media outlet from KC was down there covering the tournament and not one Dallas news station bothered to show up.
Sorry but if Kansas was in the South division, they would have lost more games. If Texas were in the north they would have won the conference. Texas had a better record vs the top 2 other teams in the conf. than KU did. Texas had a higher RPI, Texas had a higher SOS, Texas plays in a much harder division. Just because KU lucks out and plays in the north and only plays the other top 3 teams in the conference once per year doesn't mean they deserve a 1 seed or even a Big 12 championship for that matter.
