kill unwanted in Aug..

aeration/scalding/hard rake or power rake ..seeding ..fert..sept..

best to consult your local seed and feed store for absolute best time when temps are in the 70's and ample water..either from well..house tap..or mother nature..

ya can aerate in the spring just to let the earth breathe...I only spot seed in the spring/summer ...

Hawyeye it can be somewhat different for your area given the beautiful springs and not so bitter hot summers.

again your local seed and feed store and or Scotts.com free # for area specs..

hope this helps..

you are welcome...

carefull not to make the water/chemical mix to heavy..

you can actually burn fescue with these "no kill grass"products if they are overdosed and a very warm or hot day..

Thanks Old School---I usaully use the Scotts system-now crabgrass- later weed/feed then summer guard and end with winter gurard. Throw in a abig o inrontie in late April. Usally aerate in spring--but think I will try fall this year.
