philadelphia eagles -3 over JACKSONVILLE +100 (500/500)
I don't think Jacksonville will be able to contain McNabb, and Jacksonvilles wide receivers will have problems getting open against the Eagles' corners. Also, huge advantage to Philly in the kicker department, as Akers is perfect so far. As for the motivational factor, I think both teams feel like they still have something to prove. Philly will want to play a more disciplined, systematic game this week after last week's somewhat sloppy win over the Texans.. Jacksonvilles lack of a pass rush will hurt them here.
A couple matchups I really like for Philly here:
6'2" Todd Pinkston -vs- 5'10" Jason Craft
Antonio Freeman -vs- Kiwaukee Thomas
Some Concerns:
Somewhat smallish Philly D-Line will be tested by Taylor and company, I expect Jacksonville to try pounding the ball..
Philly's secondary has surrendered 7 plays of 20 yards or more in its first 4 games..
