Thank god ... Williams was a horrific manager.
Next up: Terry Francona, Larry Bowa
Personally, I like Bowa passionate, fiery style but todays players are p*ssies that want to be coddled. As a Phillies fan, my biggest issue with Bowa is the way he handles pitchers. He micro-manages them like a nutcase and rarely lets starters go deep into games. Granted, the Phillies starters have been terrible for the most part this year, but he still gives the quick hook sometimes when it's unnecessary.
