Just one play for Championship weekend.

I made my money during the season, so there's no reason to give it back now.

No Best Bet this week!

Very Small 1/2 Unit:

2 game 6.5 point teaser
New York Jets +14 over Colts
&
Minnesota Vikings +10 over Saints

Jets +14?The Jets have won 7 of their last 8 games and are just 60 minutes away from a Super Bowl berth? The Jets matchup well with the Colts since their big offensive line should be successful at the line of scrimmage against a Colts team that is built for speed, but is on the small side?I feel the Jets will be able to run the ball successfully and keep Peyton Manning on the sidelines enough to cover the 14 point spread in this teaser?on the flip side?when the Colts get the ball they would like to establish the run?but they haven?t been successful all season which puts the ball in Manning?s hands?the Colts will need their young WR?s (Collie and Garcon) to step up this week since Reggie Wayne will likely be stuck on Revis island, while the Jets will shade their coverage toward Dallas Clark?I really think the Jets matchup well here and have an excellent chance at an outright upset?but?I cant pick them to win outright because I?m just not sure how a rookie QB (Mark Sanchez) will handle the pressure of this big game? The Jets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings with the Colts?close!
Indianapolis 20 New York 16

Vikings +10?The Vikings beat the Saints last year in NO on MNF 30-27 with Gus Frerotte at quarterback and have won the last 4 games SU between the two dating back to 2002?I?m not a big fan of how the Vikings finished the season losing their last 3 games on the road?but they are back on track after winning last week and face a Saints team that faded badly (losing their last 3 games) at the end of the season as well before bouncing back last week?I think the Vikings will run Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor early and often since the Saints have had trouble stopping the run, which will help the Vikings open up their passing game with Brett Favre?on the flip side?I can see the Saints having success passing the football with Drew Brees against a Vikings secondary that can be had?but?if they become one-dimensional (if they aren?t able to establish the run) it could hurt them in the end?I?m a huge Drew Brees fan?but?he threw only 1 TD pass in last years loss to the Vikes while throwing 2 picks and he threw just 1 TD and 1 pick at home against the Cowboys on MNF in another big game?I think this game will be one of the best Championship games of all time and the team with the football at the end could end up going to the Super Bowl?Trends ? The Vikings are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games on field turf?4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record?and 4-0 ATS and SU in their last 4 meetings with the Saints? The Saints are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record?and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.

Percy Harvin participated in Saturday's practice and team meetings after staying home Thursday and Friday.

I'm thinking about taking the Saints -3 (I'd buy the 1/2) for a very small 1/2 unit if it looks like the Jets are going to cover the +14 in the early game to give me a nice middle opportunity.

I will post it... IF... I play it sometime during the Colts Jets game.

:00hour

Since I have the Vikings +10 for a very small 1/2 unit and covered the Jets play I just backed myself up with the Saints -3 (bought the 1/2) for a 1/2 unit to possibly catch a middle and basically risk nothing either way.

Very Small 1/2 Unit Play:

New Orleans Saints -3 (bought 1/2)
over Vikings
(to catch a middle)

Another winning week picking up a half unit on the teaser.

I kinda like the Colts in the Bowl...I'm not sold on the Saints since they have too many flaws defensively and were very lucky that the Vikings gift-wrapped their trip to South Florida with all those turnovers.
