Anyone here shop around for Guaranteed Payout tournaments online? Sometimes you can find ones that pay out a guaranteed amount, but don't get nearly enough entrants to break even.
Seems like this greatly increases the profit margin if you make it to the money.
VIP Poker had a $5500 tourney with a 20+2 buy-in. Only had 96 players. Payout was well over double the actual money taken in.
I am not a high stakes player, but it's always fun getting a slightly higher mathematical edge.
