They call it family night. How many NFL teams have 60000 show up for a scrimmage with Buffalo early August. Pack does it right 7 bucks and kids under 6 free. And then they even have it on the state T V network for us at home. Thats why they have the fans they do.

Teams don't like to do it because opposition scouts come to watch as well.

I was sitting in a restuarant and it got turned on mid-scrimmage (Sheets took a no-hitter into the sixth the same night, so we asked them to put that on earlier, and changed it once the no-no got broke up). This is my first FB season back in the state since 2001... I forgot how insane it gets up there. Place was just packed, and it seems like the entire crowd stayed for the fireworks show afterward, as well.
