JUST WANTED TO GET SOME OPINIONS GOING INTO TODAY AS I START TO LOOK AT SOME OF THESE EARLIER GAMES. THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF PARODY THIS YEAR IN COLLEGE HOOPS WITH MOST TEAMS HITTING SOME SORT OF ROUGH PATCH ALONG THE WAY.

WITH THAT SAID, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE ?HEAVY HITTERS? COVERED YESTERDAY. I GUESS THIS IS MY QUESTION....DO YOU FEEL THIS WAS THE LINE MAKERS BEING A LITTLE SOFT ON THE LINES DUE TO THE PARODY OR IS IT THESE TOURNEY GAMES WHERE THE BIG BOYS TURN IT UP A KNOTCH? IMO ITS PROBABLY A LITTLE OF BOTH BUT I CANT RECALL WHEN THE LAST TIME THIS OCCURRED BC THERE IS USUALLY ONE OR TWO BIG UPSETS IN SOMEBODY?S TOURNEY WHERE ONE OF THE FAVORITES IS SENT HOME.

DO WE SEE THIS TREND CONTINUE TODAY? IF SO, CINCINNATI IS A LOCK LAYING A HEFTY 13.5 TO A BANGED UP SMU.

AND THIS IS JUST A PERSONAL RANT. I HAVE TAKEN THIS FRIDAY OFF EVERY YEAR I HAVE EVER HAD A JOB...I MEAN COME ON IT?S THE ACC TOURNAMENT FOR CHRIST SAKES. IT REALLY USE TO BE A BIG DEAL IN THESE PARTS ESPECIALLY FRIDAYS BC IT WAS B-BALL ALL DAY AND AS I LOOK AT TODAYS LINE UP I AM REMINDED OF HOW JACKED UP IT HAS ALL BECOME WITH MOVING THE VENUES TO STARTING THE TOURNEY ON A FUCKING TUESDAY...FIRST GAME 7PM TONIGHT....MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE WENT TO WORK TODAY:mj01:

WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME THOUGHTS FROM OTHERS AS I DRINK MY ☕️. I WISH EVERYONE A VERY PROFITABLE DAY TODAY :0074

I hear you completely. My 10 day vacation at my primary job has officially begun and I was looking forward to a bunch of quarterfinals from the top conferences and I'm just noticing the SEC on the playlist this afternoon.. This is the day for ACC quarters, Big 10 quarters, etc.

Conference tournaments are the toughest things to handicap in all of sports imo. I gave up on regular season baseball and nba long ago by the way. Case in point. Georgia and Alabama need these games this afternoon. Both will be playing their third game in three days. Both could easily 'Notre Dame' today and I couldn't blame them. Still, do Kentucky and Auburn really care?

I'll bet these games because this to me is just like Bowl season. Beer, wings, bar of choice and non-stop basketball. But the 1-3-2 start that I had last night has me thinking of going small until next week. However, this void may allow me to become more familiar with Conference USA and the Atlantic 10.

WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING AT THOSE GAMES A FEW MINUTES AGO. FIRST THING I REMIND MYSELF, THIS IS NOT THE USUAL KENTUCKY THAT WOULD NORMALLY BE CLASSIFIED ?HEAVY HITTER?...ALTHOUGH STILL VERY TALENTED. AND THEN YOU HAVE AUBURN WHO HAS BEEN KILLING IT ALL YEAR AND 1 OF BEST TEAMS ATS AND I STILL DON?T THINK OF THEM AS ONE OF THE BETTER TEAMS.....I DON?T THINK I AM ALONE ON THAT THOUGHT PROCESS AND THAT IS WHERE THEY GET THEIR MOTIVATION IN THE LACK OF RESPECT THEY HAVE OBTAINED BY PUNISHING PEOPLE ALL SEASON. AND FOR CLARIFICATION, WHEN I SAY ONE OF THE BETTER TEAMS I MEAN IN THE SAME BREATH AS A UNC, DUKE, NOVA...ETC...AUBURN HAS WON ME QUITE A FEW THIS YEAR....MUCH RATHER WATCH THOSE 2 PLAY FOOTBALL:142smilie

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE YOU HAVE 2 TEAMS THAT ARE THE EPITOME OF JECKYL AND HYDE. ALABAMA IS AS TALENTED AS ANY TEAM IVE WATCHED ALL YEAR WHEN THEY ARE CLICKING ON ALL CYLINDERS AND I NEVER KNOW WHAT TEAM GA WILL BRING TO THE GYM....I DO KNOW THIS, TAKE THE OPPOSITE OF ME ON GA GAME BC IF I PICK THEM THEY PLAY LIKE PITTSBURGH BUT IF I BET AGAINST THEM THEY ARE WORLD BEATERS.

I?LL BE CHECKING YOUR THREAD AS I AM CERTAIN WE WILL HAVE A FEW OF THE SAME....GL FLA AND ENJOY YOUR VACAY :toast:

Everyone probably knows but Jarred Vanderbilt is very likely out for Kentucky today with an ankle problem. He's one of the main reasons Kentucky started playing better when he rejoined the team in late Jan/Feb. As you guy(s) said, this is not a normal Kentucky team, therefore I think they will be going all out today and beyond. Probably doesn't mean a thing, but I remember a few years ago Georgia came into the tournament with not so good a team, and promptly ran the table! I'm expecting a close game unless Georgia 'wears down.' Heard their big guy, Mateen(?) has had a problem with his jaw and hasn't had any solid foods in a while, don't know if he is likely to wear down or not?

I

I

kind of agree with you on Cincy. My numbers that I use to handicap wilt away as the regular seasons end so Im more of a follower or just stabbing at what looked good the day before or whos hot and whos not, who needs and who don't. Guessing my stabs are not nearly as good as the ones I use numbers for and keep personal opinion to dull roar.
