The NFL has announced the officiating crew for Sunday?s Super Bowl XLIV.

Scott Green will be the referee and lead the seven man crew. Green served as back judge in two previous Super Bowls and has officiated 12 playoff games in a 19-year career. Joining him will be umpire Undrey Wash, head linesman John McGrath, line judge Jeff Seeman, field judge Rob Vernatchi, side judge Greg Meyer and back judge Greg Steed.

Jim Lapetina will be the replay assistant and Jim Pearson will be the video operator

ok by me...

watch for roughing the passer to be called alot. This will be Greens responsibility and he will go out of his way to call it.

IF there are marginal (or late, flagrant, touching the head) hits, I think they will definitely get called... and if that happens... that leads to big 1st downs... and Points!

My thoughts at this stage are:

*I don't see either qb getting stopped in this game....
*assuming nothing drastic happens to either team in turnovers, I see lots of scoring by both teams.

*Over... and Saints... somehow... someway... it'll happen.
