virginia tech (+4) 2 units. i lost my write-up. i'll sum it up the best i can.
i think stanford is pretty overrated, as is the whole pac 10. what is stanford's biggest win this year? arizona? usc? stanford played one team with a defense in the top 20 in scoring defense, and oregon shut them out in the 2nd half. va tech is 15th in the country in scoring defense.
va tech averages over 5 yards/carry while stanford allows over 4 yards/carry, 57th in the country.
i am no huge fan of tyrod taylor, but i think stanford has only faced on real 'dual threat' qb like taylor this year, and darron thomas scorched them for 117 yards rushing and 238 yards passing.
i expect va tech to establish that running game and grind out a win.
