I haven't seen OSU go up against an up tempo team the likes of Oregon this season. I'm just curious if ppl think their D can hang, slow down, force turnovers, whatever it is to keep them in this game.

Thoughts? Is their D legit?

I'M NOT GOING TO SIT HERE AND SAY THAT THEY CAN SLOW THE DUCKS DOWN BECAUSE IF THEY GET IN A RHYTHM LIKE THEY WERE YESTERDAY, THEY ARE UNSTOPPABLE. I WILL SAY THAT THE BUCKEYES DEFENSE IS LEGIT AND WELL COACHED. I THINK THEIR TEAM HAS A TOUGHNESS AND RESILIENCY THAT WILL GIVE THEM A CHANCE AGAINST ANYBODY...COME ON REALLY...THATS THEIR 3RD STRING QB...WOW WHAT A CONVENIENCE...THAT KID WOULD START AT MOST SCHOOLS AND YOU CAN BET ALL 3 OF THOSE GUYS WON'T BE ON THE ROSTER NEXT YEAR.

I'M HOPING THAT YEARS FROM NOW AN AFLAC TRIVIA QUESTION IS...WHAT TEAM BEAT THE 1ST OFFICIAL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONS......THE HOKIES :00hour:scared:mj07::toast:

Turnovers plagued FSU all season long and how they didn't get beat up until yesterday was not because FSU was that good, they were just that lucky! L'ville had them, N C State had them, Ga Tech almost back doored beat them and Miami if they had any balls would have beaten them. To stop Oregon is simple!! DO NOT TURN THE BALL OVER TO THEM! Plain and simple!!

Michigan St lost how?

Arizona beat Oregon when Oregon was missing I believe 3 starters, 2 on OL and 1 DL, they are all back.

Ohio State other than their snafu in wk 1 to Va Tech, has played lights out and Bama's "D" was picked apart by Eziekel and Jones and if not for the refs not flagging hand touching, Ohio St could have put up more pts on Bama then they did, 6 pts on first two in red zone for FG's for Ohio St, easily could have been 14 pts. Two pick 6's escaped the Buckeyes DBs and a LB cuz they were looking down the field and alligator handed the focking ball!

Mariota didn't have his best game vs FSU, but he had balance as did the total offense. The defense got Oregon 28 pts easy! Ohio St, as long as they don't implode like FSU, which I highly doubt, will stay under the 7 or 7 1/2 number!

When in doubt, back Urban Meyer's teams! After all he did have Tim Tebow as a QB once!! :mj07:

Urban being one of the earlier up tempo coach's will have a plan..He understands up tempo from both sides of the ball...IMO he will probably think his best chance will be ball control which this team has the perfect talent for...I expect this to be a grind for Ohio St and maybe under the total of 74.5 I'm seeing now....gl

Thanks boys I really appreciate he feedback, I'm really leaning on bucks in this one, I feel like as you said Bill, Urb always has his guys ready to go in big games. Avoid disaster like FSU could not and they have a shot. BOL
