I love rooting for tOSU but hmmmm, laying 8 against the number 2 team in country, who happens to be biggest rival, on a slow field....... to me it's a no brainer, take the points, and bet the under, cause it's gonna be a very conservative game plan from Tressell.
agree on all points. have to say this is an ohio state or nothing game. there are 3 teams imo that could beat ohio state. and michigan isnt one of them.
usc (can beat anybody if playing well, shown they dont play well that often but think they would rise up in a game like this)
cal (can match them score for score and would be more athletic)
texas (would be better prepared to beat them now at a neutral site than at home earlier this year)
and
lsu (if i coached them instead of miles:mj07: ...actually might have the best defense in the land but find ways to make bonehead plays)
lvlle-michigan-fla-aub-nd all seem to not match-up well with osu and think all would get rolled.
wow. scary that you read my mind. take cal off that list and thats exactly my 3. usc, texas, and lsu.
those 3 can beat osu. i like cal a lot. theyve been a good team for me. but ohio state would rip their D. the good news is that for ohio state, they definitely wont have to worry about lsu and they very likely wont have to worry about usc. texas could be there though. much respect for michigan and what theyve accomplished, but really see osu winning by DD
that line has been 7-8 for a month at sb.com and other books, dont know why there was any debate i posted it at least once here .. anyway, the way mich has looked I would be shocked to see it hit 7

was actually looking for college basketball futures at pinnacle when i stumbled across their ncaa fb marquee matchups.
they have ohio state as a (-7) (+105) favorite right now. i grabbed the buckeyes at that price. to me, that line is very low-end. normally dont like to make impetuous opening line bets but did so in the past 2 days with louisville/rutgers under 55 and now ohio state (-7) (+105). fwiw, they also have southern cal (-6.5) over notre dame -- another line that seems a little low.
