I took the under on this med/lrge. Roman was stopped in rd 4 last 2 fights and the last ko was by a scrub. He's been stopped 4 times. Purely a boxrec wager but I like Oumas chances of getting this guy out there by mid fight. The over/under is 6 1/2 @-175.

I just posted and then I saw your post. Must have done it at the same time. I think Ouma CAN get rid of this guy IF he wants to. Sooner or later is the question.

If Ouma wants a shot at one of the champs then he needs to get this guy out of there, in somewhat impressive fashion. If Roman gets knocked out by a scrub then extends Ouma, then that doesn't say much for Ouma's cause. I think he tries to get this kid out of there early. Lets hope so anyway. GL

i wouldn`t beat myself on this one guys.......this fight.....along with the mora/ayala fight(a fight in which many thought mora lost, btw)can be traced back to,i think, the original marquez/juarez card(i think)that was called off.......

all the other fights got made on other cards, but for some reason,ouma/mora never made it....

i think both ouma and mora ended up settling for lesser fights after extended down time and apparently, both lost their edges waiting around for fights...

both ended up looking staler than hell, and as i said, mora possibly should have lost as well...

i think the circumstances did both guys in.... a shitty confluence of events...not necessarily bad handicapping......

Yea, it's that damn confluence again. I hate it when I get confluced. I'm so confluenced! On the real side though, when I miss something, such as the lay-off, etc. and I don't take it into acount, I am at fault and the loss is on me. No excuses. If I don't look at it like that, I find rationalizations to justify my crapping hadicapping, and will continue to f**k up. My bad all the way.

Don't beat yourself up over it. I saw it the same way as you and lost a decnt amount. We can't predict the intangibles...such as Ouma's readiness and heart as well as Roman. But wouldn't it have been nice if one of us jumped on +2700 Roman! That would have been sweet. Not to play Mon morning quarterback but w/all the kos Roman had, I'm surprised somebody didn't mention it. Better luck to you tonight Franks.

the ringtalk guy makes his own odds and he had ouma just a 1 to 2 favorite. But this guy is pretty full of it sometimes. A ko can happen but winning via dec against such a volume puncher ?
thank god the odds were that high imagine -600 and alot of parlay boosters backfire bigtime.
Did you see Chambers ? i really liked what i saw from him, he has potential and even made a half decent impression in the interview.

I'm sure counting my lucky stars for those odds not being close to -600. I would have lost my shirt. Pedro is pretty full of himself. I used to read his columns alot but he actually bores me. I do read his odds and predictions but for the most part, it's a joke. He claims he learned handicapping through Herb Lamback the famous handicapper...whatever, Pedros odds make no sense but he sure pats himself on the back countless times for getting the very easy picks correct. I think Punch got banned there a while back for calling him on it.
