Not a straight forward night with these games.

Belmont vs Morehead: Belmont has been dominating in the 1st halves and then letting up in the second. Morehead is young but has the guard play to win this game SU. I however think JJ Mann is the class of the conference. I would play it Belmont first half -4 and then look to fade them in the second half if they are up big.

EKU vs Tn State: Very similar thing here with TSU- They are not a good team and they have been getting DOMINATED in the 1st half and then they wake up. Patrick Miller is a good player and will lead league in scoring EKU looking ahead to Belmont on Saturday? I think so. I prefer to play TSU for second half after I think they will be down. I like TSU +8 and moneyline...

SEMO vs SIUE: SEMO can score on anyone and will win if they want to defend. SIUE is playing good ball but at home. SEMO had BIG win at TT and I think they will carry over. However, SIUE plays defense and SEMO does not. Lean to over but look for SEMO to win.

Austin Peay vs Jax St: Austin peay should win at home. I tend towards the under and I look for the under to come in here. APSU needs to win at home because they are not going to win on the road. Jax plays a decent game but APSU at home should win. APSU to cover

EIU vs UTM: I think UTM at home will get the win. EIU is not a very good team.. but neither is UTM- Game is a toss up but the home team should get the nod.

Do not love any of these games. I think TSU can win SU.

I thought that Peay was the most attractive of the lot so I used them but that was all.

Honestly, games went pretty close to how I expected. Austin Peay is really the only egg on them winning but the under did pay.
Playing against TSU in the 1st half is still paying. They had chances in the second half and we up 2, for the second half, with 34 seconds to play but could not hold on. Still, playing against TSU early is still the play.
SEMO over was there... OVC is such a conference of runs and halves. If SEMO could put together multiple halves in a row they would go on a hell of a run.

UTM won at home. Tight but they prefer to win at home and EIU not a good team.

Belmont is the class of the conference we kissed our sister on the 1st half and the 1st half was close enough to not let us play against them for the second half. Keep an on eye on this though. 2nd half over did not quite get there.

Not a bad night at all. Saturday will shake out the conference nicely. We are looking at Murray State, Belmont, EKU for the top spots followed by Morehead State. SEMO is talented enough but they are too far behind in the loss conference and they do not play enough defense to actually win the conference. They could win the conference tournament or they could upset a team or 2 trying to win the crown. Be back Saturday with more OVC.
