They will not be able to make this line high enough. The Packers had the following injuries to their defense on Monday night.
Joe Johnson torn left triceps gone for the rest of the year. The Packers are now without both starting defensive ends. Last year when they tried Kabeer Gbala-Biamilla at starting defensive end teams ran at will against them. Injuries to the defensive backfield by the end of the game had left the Packers with none of the starting defensive backfield that they started the season with. Out with groin injuries were both corners McKenzie and Williams.
Safeties Darren Sharper has a hamstring injury. Antwoin Edward is out. Back up cornerback who also started at safety Blawoh Jue injured his hamstring on the punt return team. The packers were down using Darius Gordon their punt returner at cornerback at the end of the game. On the sideline they were trying to teach Terry Glenn to play corner in case of another injury. On offense the Packers had no TE's at the end of the game due to injuries. This team will turn into the Dolphins of the early 90's where they have to keep on throwing and scoring. Will keep everyone updated on the injuries throughout the week.

P.S. How bad is that Bear Offense if they could only score 21 pts off that defense and two of those drives were of 37 yards and 4 yards.

You are so right. my Packers are in deep chit. They will patch it up as best possiable. But to win out right they will have to get a lot of points. So overs should continue in ther games.

Injured Packers

Injured Packers

Sharper is very doubtful because of his hamstring. He is having problems even sitting down. McKenzie the teams best corner is very doubtful with a groin injury. Tyrone Williams the other corner has a groin problem also but it doesn't seem as serious. Back up corner back Bhawoh Jue suffered a hamstring pull and may be out. With New England using 5 wide outs so much this could be a major problem even if Troy Brown is out. Jim Miller completed 9-14 passes he threw against Tod McBride who started at the other corner. With the Packer starting safety Edwards out already the Packers will be starting Bowens who didn't look that good as a replacement and a rookie Marques Anderson who was burned for plays of 31 and 52 yards. They will have to sign a cornerback this week as they tried to play Darien Gordon in the 4th quarter and he gave up passes of 21,23, and 52 yards and he played less than a quarter. The Defensive line is in shambles they are talking about moving nose tackle Rod Walker to DE. Gilbert Brown has had to play 77 plays the last two games normally he only plays 15-18 plays a game. I suspect that NE will go to a no huddle offense again and tire poor Gilbert out. After playing so much the last 2 games Gilbert has lost 80 pounds he is now down to 440 pounds.( Just kidding) In the 4th quarter Gilbert was playing on some passing downs too. In all his years as a packer I have not seen him do this. They are really hurting in the D-Line.
The Offense should be all right as Terry Glenn is already talking trash.(Couldn't believe I lost my prop bet as the trainers didn't come on the field once.) The receivers should be healthy and both running backs are okay. This team reminds me of the Colts of last year but with Brett throwing less interceptions than Payton. This Packer team is like the Cinncinatti Bengals with one exception Brett Favre. Get that hillbilly out of a dome and he is unbelievable. He is playing his best Football ever! I would stay away from a side because the packers have scored in the 30's in every game except one and that was against Carolina when they were missing 3 wideouts and a tight end.

I will further update during the week. I know alot of gamblers look at trends more than injuries but in this case they are a major factor.

I think this is a great spot for the Patriots and likewise, a bad one for Green Bay. NE needs a win badly after getting thrown around in San Diego and Miami and I think they'll take advanatage of a wounded GB D. I think GB realizing this game would be a tough spot for a win inspired the Pack to take care of business in Chicago. I love the Pats here and see GB playing catch up all day, which means the over should be there as well. Good luck all...:drinky:

Defensive injuries

Defensive injuries

Starting cornerback Tyrone Williams did practice today along with Darren Sharper. Sharper said he was surprised he was moving so well he plans on playing. The Packers best corner Mckenzie did not practice at all look for Todd Mc Bride to get the start. Bhawoh Jue will be out. The Packers are mum on who is going to be starting in the defensive line this week. They have been practicing with a nose tackle playing defensive end. I think this is the way they will go because when they tried to start KGB at DE last year he was ineffective against the running game and it took away from the pass rush. On the Offensive side the Packers should be relatively healthy with the exception of Tauscher who is out for the season.

Added information!

Added information!

The week after playing the Bears the Packers have lost 6 out of their 7 games. Last year with a 13-3 record 2 of the losses came to the Bears. Last year they lost too Tennessee and Atlanta. In both those games the defense was non existent. If I remember right Skip Hicks had about 180 yards. Against Atlanta Chandler threw for about 400 yards. Sharper is a game time decision. Alot of Packers were saying that they were still sore from Monday's game as the Bears are so physical.

As being a avid Packer fan I try to avoid taking the Packer game no matter what. I will update any new information on Sunday on who is going to play but my guess is that the Packers will hold out Sharper. Look for Brady to throw up to 50 passes on Sunday.
The Packers in the first halves have thrown almost 68 percent of the times. So enjoy the over! Brett gets up for every game so the Packers will still be good for at least 20.
