a nice little compact pre-game report from the hoyasaxa site/......georgetown perspective:

===
With exam week underway in Washington, the Elon Phoenix (nee Fighting Christians) find themselves envisioned as the kind of opponent that can give the Hoyas another win on its oft-criticized December schedule. That's not so say they can't be competitive with the Hoyas, though.

Longtime Wake Forest assistant (and former George Mason head coach) Ernie Nestor has the ingredients of a building program in the shadow of the ACC. Elon enters the game 3-3 after an 85-82 win over American, where it shot over 50% from two point range and from three (11-22) for the win. But other than AU, though, its previous two wins have come against Division II schools Bluefield and Methodist. A 24 point loss to Idaho and a 42 point loss to Wake Forest may be more indicative for a young Phoenix squad that is winless on the road to date.

Jackson Atoyebi (6-6) leads Elon in scoring and rebounding and could find a tough matchup against a Brandon Bowman or a Gerald Riley. The Phoenix have played small in games to date, but may be forced to push the ball inside to reserves like 6-9 Rasmi Gamble (8.7 ppg) or 6-8 Chris Chalko (5.0 ppg). Elon has preferred a patient three guard offense but may have to adjust against a quicker team such as Georgetown.

Before anyone pencils in a quick "W" for the G-men, note that exam week tends to lead to a fair share of rust for the team to shake early. The Hoyas must establish an early tempo, take advantage of it strengths in defense and points off turnovers, and mitigate the three point shot. In its three wins, Elon shot 46.8% from three point range; in its three losses, exactly half that (23.4%). Taking away the outside shot is a primary goal for the Hoyas early in this game. If Elon hits five or six threes in the first half, they can stay in this game.

Ernie Nestor will make a name for these Phoenix before too long. Georgetown doesn't want it to be on Saturday.
