Good thing the got Utah in conference. At least 1 team won.
No UCLA this year and Zona out after 1 game.
Momouth would have finished 3rd or 4 th this year in Pac 12.

Easily made it as a #7 seed....This committee may go down as one of the worst as far as seeding of the teams
Oregon State was w/o Tinkle's son who averages 13 Pts and Cal had injuries but nonetheless the Beavers did not beat a ranked team all year. They got in because of Gary Payton,Jr.
PAC 12 is now 1-5 in tournament with Utah winning after losing conference finals by 31 points.
West Coast basketball is not the same since Sam Gilbert stopped paying the UCLA players.
Va Tech , Momouth and St Bonnie's deserved one of those 7 spots given to piss poor PAC 12.

So. Cal
The conf didnt have any title contenders; the seeding was awful (utah not a 3, osu not a 7, col not an 8, ore not a 1, az should have been a 5) and some of the matchups were bad (Wichita state was not a play in 11 seed)

But to say Monmouth would have finished 3rd is a huge overstatement.....and this coming from someone who bet against every pac-12 team so far (including arizona).

My seeding of the conf would have been

Ore 2
Cal 4
Utah 5
Az 5
Col 10
Sc 11
Ore st 11 seed play in game (them being a 7 seed may have been the worst overseed in the history of this tourney)

Number 3 seed Utah loses by 23 points to number 11 seed Gonzaga who was lucky to even make the tournament.
The seeding committee are not having their best year. 1 out of the 7 PAC 12 teams makes the sweet sixteen.
No wonder the conference cannot get a cable deal.

The game wasn't even that close....That was an embarrassing performance by a 3 seed....The committee loved them some Pac 12 this year...It has to go down as one of the worst showing by a conference since the tournament expanded to 64 and now 68 teams.
