been in vegas for ever.. just back.. so im posting again

arizona st +3

asu handled this husker team prety well last year in tempe, this is asu first road game of the year and Coach Evans is tightening up the lineup now and knows what newcomers work. The buety of ASU is Ike Diougu and freshman Wil Fameni inside presence. These guys will score down low and hit there free throws. This team can get hot from 3 pt range. Nebraska is a very good home team that won 11 of 30 games last year, but were 11-9 at home. They are a team that likes to create offense off turnovers and fast breaks becasue they really struggle in a half court set. ASU doesnt turn it over too much and taking 3 points here in a sun devil fans opinion is gravy.

Irvine +11
Where are the fire Ben Braun websites? Just kidding, but Cal 1-2 out of the gates with losses to Cal Poly and UNLV, and a 49-48 win over BYU have to be scrathing their heads. The problem with Cal, is they have two seperate teams, half the team (the new guys) love to run the ball, but the o;der guys like to slow it down. So Powe and the other links to the top recruiting class are going to have to mesh better and much faster. CAL certainly is missing the leadership of Shipp and point guard who transferd Shantay Legens. Irvine may be down from what they have been the last few seasons, still have a team with enough fire power to give Cal a run for their money. Irvine has played in hostile enviornments (utah st yearly) is as tough to play in as Haas/

PEPP EVEN
Pepperdine is playing a nightmare schedule, but they are doing well with it, games agasint Dayton, Ok st and CU have helped prepare these guys for the season and they travel about 45 minutes west/north up the 101 to santa barabara to play in the thunderdome. UCSB has dissapointed since its NCAA apperance but this years team is confident in getting back to where they want to be. These two beach schools are close too each otehr but no rivalry here, PEPP CRUISES ON THE ROAD

central michigan: +1
I know Bradley may be the class of the MVC this year, but these boys are logging some serious miles, they have already been to Vegas for thanksgiving, and now up to michigan.. then they will go to vegas again before heading to malibu.. the braves have a lot of road left to travel and this may be an evenly matched game, thus I am taking the home team, Bradley wont win them all but they wil win the mvc

leans: ucr +12.5
UNLV +11
Montana +5

Before you pull any triggers, i still am looking over what I like today, and think i found another diamond in the rough. Tulane vs New Orleans, the bitter battle in the bayou for the Senators Cup. Tulane got the better of New Orleans last year by a score of 80-67. Tulane is young lead by Quincy Davis who ahs been averaging a Double Double so far this season. Tulane is home, and has played a couple more games this year, I see the younger freasher Green Waves pulling it out here.

BG, Morehead killed us a couple of times last year, so I'm weary to pull the trigger on them, but i am looking at the Murray Racers Creme de la Creme of the OVC, to take to TCU tonite in Ft Worth. Also gonna play MSU -2.5 vs the Dookies.

Like your ASU play. What the determining factor will be is how the young players respond in their first road game. Don't think the Huskers have any answers inside for Diougu. Huskers picked to finish 11th in Big 12. On the other hand many places have ASU picked 7th and I think they finish higher in the Pac-10. Maybe they had the hoops team confused with the foots team.
