Read my prior post about ASU
I am playing them huge and huge on the moneyline

Arizona +25
CAL +4

Taking 3 pac-10 teams on the road vs big-10 teams may not seem logical but here goes

ASU +9 at Iowa

I knew ASU would struggle vs USU, thats why i played utah st pretty big, asu was playing it safe in holding out 4 very important starters for the game to ensure they would be healthy for iowa. Iowa is missing stud safety Bob Sanders and stud wr mo brown and beat a very average at best iowa state, a bad buffalo and a squeker over miami ohio. It will be a good game and taking the points is easy here, its my biggest play ever, at +9, but thats just me, also love +320

Arizona +25

On the road again... UA must be glad to get out of tucson and play in front of a different crowd. Purdue is coming off a nice win over ranked wake forest. Purdue has been hearing how bad UA is... and UA already has nothing to lose and no pressure. They can hang around in this one... take ARIZONA (cringe) +25

CAL +4

I have played Cal for everyone of there games this year and played agaisnt them in only one of them and that was vs kstate. I am 2-2 ats with them so buyer beware... but once again I am very confident I am very confident playing a pac-10 team on the road. Illinios mustered a field goal vs ucla last week.. and should have allowed at least 2 maybe 3 more td's had ucla not dropped easy td's.. illinios droped a few also. But Cal has settled on Aaron Rogers at qb and will be the guy in Berkeley now, and his numbers vs Utah were flat out amazing. This is the 5th consecutive week Cal is playing and this may be the easiest opponent so far.. maybe southern miss at home was easier. Cal can score on anyone.. just ask k-state, and since illinios is pressed to score... i cnat imagine illinios shooting out with that offense... cals defense is not good... but good enough to hold UI to under 3 td;s.. and cal will score 21.. play CAL

MORE TO COME

This line is rediculous. You don't get a much liver dog than ASU, esp. at +325. ASU has only a 3-1 chance of winning this game? Are they kidding?

Please see this previous MadJacks link-

Here

Ignore that retarded Hawaii play. Dumb. :)

Also I was at the game, and...

Hagan (WR) dropped a wide open deep touchdown pass.

Fumbled on the damn goaline.

Had a punt return for a TD called back.

21 points right there for those scared about the score.

BYU -7

BYU laying a TD at home to the Cardinal seems just right. Stanford is yet to play a real game this year (san jose st) meanwhile BYU has been playing exceptionally well. The Cardinal have a lot of young players and are still adjusting to Buddy Teevens system
Play BYU -7 at home

oklahoma -18.5

This is a seasoned and veteran OU team, so they are missing the top lb, that shouldnt matter becasue if UCLA couldnt score vs llinios at home htey arent going to score in Norman. Also guys like Craig Bragg and Junior Taylor drop easy passes for the second straight game, they cant afford to do that especially vs OU. OU on the other hand could be covering at halftime. PLAY OU -18.5

Michigan -7.5

I think Michigan may be the top team in the big-10 and maybe the country... and playing in Autzen may be as tough as it comes. Oregon is getting excited about a good start to the season and have always been a good team early in the year and play very well in non conferance games. Michigan on the otherhand is looking to show themselves off to the west coast. They have a new Defensive backs coach this year who came over from arizona state and previosly was at oregon, so he knows bellottis offense very well. Truth is Michigan has too much talent to keep this a close game asChris Perry and the Wolves will score all they want against a suspect Duck defense. Sammy Parker could shine for UO and make a name for himself nationally as one ofthe best wr in the country becasue he is... this gmae will have a ton of points... play UM -7.4

bgold - In regards to your U of A play. Something to keep in mind in case you did not know. Brandon Phillips on the OL is out now for the season after tearing his ACL on Sat. vs. Oregon. He was their only Senior on the OL. This will affect their play on the OLine as he was by and far away their leader. The way I see this game is that Purdue should score 35pts, 5 TD's against this poor group should not be a problem. Now can the Wildcats score at least 10 pts? Looking back at their last 2 games all the Wildcats TD's came against their opponents when the opposition had their 2nd and 3rd string players in. So in 6 quarters when the opposition has their starters in they were outscored 73-3. Listening to coach Mac last night in his press conf. he changes his tone of voice and facial expressions when the media mentions the name of Clarence Farmer. He said he will not start him as he is not in game shape. I found this bizzarre. He said he can only play 2 or 3 plays in a row and then has to sit him. He is the only guy on their offense that brings any confidence or superior athletic ability to their offense. It would not surprise me to see Purdue blow them out but of course the Wildcats could get the almighty back door cover.

I like your other plays. Thanks for your work and analysis. GL

thanks horns for the update.. i knew about the olineman injury.. and i watched the conferance after reading this post and you are right about his facial expression... he has to big of an ego to play farmer. One of his former players who happens to be undrafted thanks to coach mac now big force on the packers oline who i wont name;) says all mack cares about is hearing his name in the paper.. i guess he lover the firemackovic.com website thats up and running.
Back to this one: I like Mike Bell, he is getting better and better and I still think the matchups are decent for UA in this game. I usually only bet a team that I believe can win a game, even if they are big dogs, and I dont beleive they can beat purdue. I like getting 25 points against a team that will compare UA to a Buffalo or UTEP... UA is not that bad.. they are more like Northwestern bad!!

Any idea if Parker is 100%? He left the UA game with an ankle injury and haven't heard much since. Was leaning toward Michigan as I don't think Oregon's defense is good enough to keep them in the game.

I am a pac 10 guru.

BYU has 2 qbs out and a new offense, Stanford has the best qb in the Pac 10 in freshman Edwards. I like Stanford Moneyline. +260

Iowa shut down a very goof offense in Miami O, held them to 3 points, Miami O's qb is better than Adny Walter who is a sack waiting to happen, Dirks defense is always pathetic, I like Iowa by 17 despite a couple of injurys.

UCLA is a great bet +19.5, they have enough athletes to keep it close, when you give 19.5 pts you better dominate line of scrimmage on both sides and thios simply wont happen, I like Bruins +19.5

Coach Belloti is the best coach in the country now that Neuhisal is out, Gang green will put 8 in the box to stop the 6 diffrent plays that michigan runs, Navaree has an extremly slow release. Michigan on defense doesnt see what Oregon will give them in the big 10, Michigan has played garbage thuis far, that includes the catholic cult school Notredame. Coach Belloiti brings too much to the table. Ducks +7.5 along with a little moneyline.

How much you want to bet Andrew Walter doesn't throw 4 picks against Iowa? Rothlesberger is overrated. Miami OH had 2 turnovers from inside Iowa's 6 yard line due to Rothlesberger.

I have seen him play a couple of time, and he has yet to show me he is worthy of a 1st round pick. I saw the Marshall/Miami OH game last year, and Rothlisberger didn't show me crap. He has got good size and a good arm, but I don't think he is all everyone thinks he is...at least not yet.
