My buddy just got a letter from the Packers stating that they are adding 6500 seats and he and his brother were 4062 on the list and will have the right to buy 4 seats. They have been on the list for over 25 years. The seats will cost $2100 a seat for the first year I guess as they were hit for the maintenance fee or the price of the actual seat. Even as a Die Hard Viking fan I can respect that, and I was informed that I will be going to Lambeau yearly at their cost of ticket!! :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

I've been there three times. Have to admit I love going to Lambeau, as for Green Bay, why can't they make a business or building that isn't green and gold?

Can't wait for the Vikes stadium to be finished, going to buy season tickets next year to ensure I get into the new stadium...

It is most likely going to retract. The state funded an open air stadium in which the Wilf's accepted. The state told them if they want it to retract the Wilf's will have to pay for that themselves. From the quotes and listening to the VP talk, I have the impression that the roof will retract. I hope they don't retract it on 40 degree fall days but I bet they will.:facepalm:

I'm not a Packers fan. Cool story though. I hope they're 2-4 after Sunday night and miss the playoffs. I love seeing the looks on Rodgers face when things don't go his way. :mj07:

got to go there 4 yrs in a row with my son and friends will never forget it stayed at the star inn right by the stadium pretty run down but you could throw a beer can and hit the stadium(almost) last yr some guys set up 10 bbq pits outside the motel and cooked ribs for everybody around great time

Best, most loyal fans in the world, especially at Lambeau Field. Been there a half a dozen times, and everytime, I feel like I am walking into a shrine of epic proportions. Fantastic place to go to a game. Should be on everyone's bucket list.

No dome for the Vikes. If they have one, it will be closed for every game after the middle of October.

It would be cool if the Vikes new stadium were open air only, like the old Met. Doesn't sound like thats the case though. Bummer.

Yeah he showed me the letter last night.. Here is the catch...

He can get 4 seats for 4 games RIGHT NOW!! Or he can pass on those seats and wait a few years to get 4 seats for 8 games. If he chooses the 4 seats now, HE IS STUCK WITH THAT FOR LIFE.. He can't make up his mind. Now as for 4 seats I think he has 2 seats and his brother 2 seats, case I thought the 4 seats were a lot.

I think I would take the 4 seats for 4 games now. Could die by the time the 8 games become available. That's just me

He's getting Milwaukee package? I wish they would completely dump that anyway. Those people have nothing coming anymore.

I guess you take what you get. Either way, it should be 3 and 7 games. If he's being offered 4 or 8, I want an investigation!

I'm guessing you guys will get the first pre-season game, and the 2nd and 5th regular games every year.
