I'm hoping for Miami to win outright, and for Doug Peterson to be the Packers QB early in the first quarter.

A good story in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel noted that Favre normally is at his best when we think he should be at his worst. He is expected to play Monday against the Dolphins, despite having treatment this week because of a sprained knee. If history is correct, he'll play well.
Fantasy Spin: Start him. For the record, the article also mentioned that Favre has some kind of unnatural recovery ability. For instance, recent MRIs on the knee reportedly didn't show much indication of any wear at all. In fact, the knees looked like that of a younger man. The guy is incredible -- you just 'member that.

On the course!
I don't know gibber......I remember Favre not mentioning a hurt thumb a few years back, and playing like shit for a couple of games. He's the type who won't admit if he is hurt.

Thanks Gibber, I give much more weight to your opinion than to their local newspaper. I agree that people often play better and are less distracted when they have certain ailments like the flu. However, I currently am rehabbing a knee injury. It affects every part of life, like the thumb injury Favre had.

I know that Farve is a great QB, and really respect his skills, but he does seem to make some poor judgements at times. Giving a defensive player a sack record that he didn't earn, comes to mind.
I'm sure Favre will start and play some, but this defense will not pity him. It will be tough for the coach to pull him, even if it is best for the team, and us Miami bettors!! LOL!!

Just my opinion, Topdog

Hey njsf25g, Five months is a long time to go, without gambling, but I guess we've all done that before.

Most of us would prefer the K C Wolf method, going 6-0 yesterday.
