Where it is real F ing COLD
Will be giving a pick later this week, I am sure this game will be off the board until Bradford is officially announced as the starter. Going to objectively try to cap this game and maybe not have the homer goggles on. As of right now I am favoring the Packers.. Both teams can feel very fortunate winning today, Vikings score was not indicative of how the game was going and Mariota made a huge mistake to give the Vikings the lead and the momentum. In Jacksonville the Packers were very fortunate the Jags had terrible management under 30 seconds.

Offensively I expect the Vikings to struggle a little bit, Bradford will be the starter, there has to be some timing issues. Peterson had very little to work with in Tennessee as they stacked the line he had no room to run. Hill was able to find receivers but there is just something about the offense. The line has two new players and another shifting to a different position from last year. They lack tempo and they committed several penalties. Hill found open receivers and missed two easy TDs. Hopefully Bradford will make them pay but as much as I don't trust the Packer's D they are an big upgrade over Tennessee. Packers will be blitzing on third down and protection will need to hold up. Vikes need to set the tone early and establish the run and hopfully idiot Norv Turner figures out what the hell they are doing in the red zone.

Packers offensively will be one more game with Jordy back, they looked great at times against the Jags then awful others. Rodgers typically does well in Minnesota, and a big key is the status of Vikings starter Xavier Rhodes, if he is out it will be a HUGE advantage for the Packers, HUGE as he is the guy who locks down on Jordy. Packers have also run the ball down the Vikings throats their last couple trips to Minneapolis and maybe trying to do the same again.

The place is going to be rocking but they are playing an experienced team with a great QB at the helm. They won't be rattled, would have been nice to open stadium against Cutler instead. All in all I think the Packers offense is going to be what gets them over the hump, they will make that intangible play that the VIkings will not. It's my feeling today.

I think it's a lower scoring game, Favoring the Pack by a score at the moment. Will have to wait and see how the week progresses. Hopefully the Vikes are able to get AP going and set up some easy Bradford throws.

Also think low scoring with a lot of heat on Rodgers....

Trev,

I need to come catch a game in Minny sometime. Of course when the weather is still nice. Living in the desert has made me quite the pussy when it comes to anything under 65 degrees :mj07:

Viking fans think Bradford is the answer, bp Bradford is fucking awful. Green bay will go 8 in the box and hold minny down.
Gb will win something like 23-13 ish.
Sam bradford, lol.

Packers are the Play -

Vikings will be without DT Sharrif Flloyd and Xavier Rhodes at corner. Everytime Flloyd has been out against Green Bay, Lacy is able to get big chunks and Rhodes is a big big big loss for this game. Man that sucks. It's going to be hard to ask Bradford to win this game.

Here are what has to happen for the VIkings to win this game..

1. Adrian Peterson Rushes for 120 yards plus.

2. Jordy Nelson not at previous form, there are rumblings that this guy is only 75% of what he was.

3. They have to get to Rodgers, they have to.

4. No turnovers - Good luck with that with Bradford and Adrian..

This is just too much IMO.. Vikes won't be the team they expect for a few weeks. Probably after their bye. If they win Sunday I would be absolutely shocked.

The talk around here is that Peterson will go off. Packers got lucky to beat Jax. Most people are expecting Minnesota to win.

I'm all over the Vikings in this game.

All we've heard all off season is how deep Minny is. QB situation just got better for them. New stadium and more and deeper talent.

How can the Packers overcome that?

I would agree that the Vikings are a deeper team but you better be PLENTY deep when #12 rolls into town, this isn't Jay Cutler. I think of Bradford were here a month then maybe but man this is short notice. Don't under estimate the loss of Rhodes he does not allow big games by star receivers, He gets PI from time to time but I have watched games where they don't even try him. Let's get this straight, I was high On Teddy this year.. Had he been starting, I'm leaning the Vikes in a Pick em game
