I for one still love boxing, it reminds of being a kid watching Hagler vs leonard with my dad when I was a kid, I am 40 now and am still attracted to the sport. I realize boxing is almost dead and there are only a handful of boxers that are worth planning a Saturday night around.
I for one am excited to see this fight.

For as good as floyd is I see manny dominating this fight and easily out point floyd. Floyd is great at adjusting on the fly, but I can't see how the constant pressure that manny will put him under will allow him to adjust. I believe from the 5th round and later floyd gets in real trouble.
I.m.o manny batters him for 12.

Manny pacquiao +175 10 unit play.

I like it. I'm in...however manny doesn't batter fighters like he used. No more 5, 6 7 punch combos coming from him. He will have to get it done with 3 and 4 punches...and Floyd has slowed down noticeably. Flat footed now but still elusive.

Boxing was by far my favorite sport, but like hip hop it's dead. I don't even have any favorite fighters anymore.

Just watched No Mas and Holmes/Ali 30 for 30. Great documentaries

Boxing is dying. I'm sure you still watch boxing as I do, Andre ward is a great fighter but his inactivity doesn't let him be known, ggg is pretty exciting as well. The no mas doc was great, but Duran turned me off, just admit you went in to the second fight fat and out of shape with the short turn around. Shit it's been 30 years time to man up.

I just feel that the may - pac fight will go to the judges and the more active fighter will win, floyd wants to jab and protect, and manny is so active even as he is declining. I see why floyd is favored but I think manny still has 1 more great explosion fight in him, he has looked bored, but don't see that happening against floyd.

And I think the inactivity of many fighters is what's killing it...

Seriously Duran should have told the truth. No one would hold it against him at this point. Everyone knows he was a warrior in the ring and redeemed himself many times over after that fight. But oh well he just couldn't man up.

Can't wait for Saturday night. Don't think we will see another fight of this magnitude for awhile

I really can't stand boxing, it is so corrupt and the sport is filled with scumbags, assholes, and fuck sticks.

With that said.........

Manny Pacquiao defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr $3.00 (+200) *71 million dollars

Floyd Mayweather Jr/Manny Pacquiao DOES NOT Go The Distance $3.50 (+250) *99 million dollars

Since the PPV cost and the ticket costs are a complete joke I thought my wagers would be par for the course.

Opinion follows:

I don't watch sports for mentorship. I watch it for entertainment. Everyone up in arms about Mayweather's abusive past. But he is who he is.

I hope they knock each other out and entourage goes full battle royal.

This may be the last great hype.

Mayweather and it doesn't go 12.

I hope it's a good fight.

Mayweather jr. Is the best ever... His defense and his game plans are untouchable.... Floyd will walk you around and let you hit him (even though he's blocking 85% of them) and then will come at you when he wants too... He tires you out.... He's very frustrating to fight... His vision in the ring is outstanding. ..

A good example is the De La Hoya fight... Oscar thought he was hurting him until he looked back after the eighth round was over at Floyd and realized Mayweather was taking him to school like a chump...

Floyd doesn't care about knockouts and excitement... He cares about winning the fight. It doesnt matter by how many points... as long as he wins...That's what makes him the greatest

Greatest ever?
He's very very good but he's not the greatest ever.
I can't wait for this fight.

o say Floyd is the greatest ever shows novicity

I would say he was on his way to becoming the greatest fighter ever through his first 25-30 fights, but since then, it's been nothing but staged entertainment. He's an EXCELLENT business man and that's where it starts and ends for him now. Nothing wrong with it, but it is what it is. I truly believe 95% of the public would do the same thing if they had the opportunity.

The last time Floyd got into the ring with a contender that had any kind of shot at beating was de la hoya who beat floyds shiny behind for the first 4 rounds working behind his jab. Then surprisingly de la hoya just stopped throwing it and maybe that was to floyds avail. I still remember Merchant in the post fight interview saying why did you stop throwing the jab? Sheepishly, de la hoya says "it wasn't the night of the jab"

I'm not a floys hater. I love the style his father taught him. It's exremeley unique and nearly impossible to duplicate. The whole family were born to be fighters. If you could couple mayweather Sr's balls with mayweather jr's skill set you may have something there

Oh, I almost forgot....
