NY JETS AT MIAMI

With Surtain questionable, and Martin hobbled, look for the Jets to take the ball to the air. The Jets haven't been pressuring the QB well thus far, which could help Miami throw well. Like over 20.0 - no play with a hook.

CAROLINA AT MINNESOTA
1st Half Line: Minnesota -3, O/U 22.5
Vikings finally have a kicking advantage over a team. Carolina should be able to throw well against Minnesota, and will probably try. Carolina hasn't given up many points so far, but against the Baltimore and Detroit offenses. I look for this game to be a bit of a shootout, with the advantage to Minnesota.

KANSAS CITY AT NEW ENGLAND

Laying 5 points at halftime isn't one of my favorite pasttimes, but Bilichek's D should have Trent Green throw fits. With New England scoring 37 ppg and KC giving up 31, I'm not too worried about the Pats scoring here.

I just don't believe the Saints are "all that" this year. Yes, they've played very well, but Brooks still looks very shaky. I think the Bears will do a good enough job of stopping the run, which should keep the Saints in check.
