PADRES/MARLINS Under 7 +100 - While this seems like a low total at first glance, this is actually a match-up of two of the best young pitchers in the National League, and pitching in this spacious ballpark should certainly help to keep the scoring down. Beckett is coming off of a tough-luck outing vs. the Dodgers where he allowed just 1 earned run and 3 hits in 8 innings before the bullpen blew the game for him. He has allowed just 16 hits and 8 walks in 27 innings in this stadium this year, which works out to a stellar 0.89 ratio! He also allowed just 2 runs and 5 hits in 8 innings in his only start against the Padres last year. Eaton deserves a much better fate than his current 1-2 record, as he has a fine 3.54 and 1.13 ratio overall. He has pitched in especially bad luck on the road where he is 0-2 despite a 2.78 ERA and 0.97 ratio. If these pitchers match their home/away pitching splits so far this season, these clubs will have difficulty scoring much more than 5 runs in this game.
