Ok,
so I'm going to paint my kids rooms. Figure I would drop in at the local Home Depot, and pick up some paint and brushes, no problem
I get there and holy chit, there must be 25 different paint brushes, from bristle to sponge brushes, to rollers of all sizes, corner angles, trim angles, the list goes on.
I ask the one of the workers about rollers and he asked me what size 'nap' I wanted...
I was gonna tell him I don't swing that way, but he explained it was teh thickness of the material on the roller, OH!!:00x24 :00x24
I asked about paint, stupid me,.....
We have gloss, semi-gloss, enamel, latex, eggshell, flat, and I don't know how many others he said..
"Sir, since you are painting one of the rooms blue, do you need tinted primer?!". WTF, I don't know!!!!
Just give me some fawking paint to paint my kids room with...
So, I said to hell with it and figured I would get some 'advice' from MJer's before dropping $25.00/gallon
I'm figuring the bristle brushes are better than sponge brushes, because of the price!! , but that had ALL types and ALL price ranges
The lady at the paint counters said an 'eggshell' paint would be good, since I have kids and cleans easier, and is between flat and glossy....any thoughts....
I figured a couple of coats of regular white primer should do o.k....
Rooms aren't that big...
Thanks
Lawrence
