ATLANTA FALCONS +1 - You could probably throw out the records for this contest, as it marks the return of Mike Vick to the Atlanta starting lineup. Vick looked pretty mobile coming off the bench last week in Houston, and he has practiced well all week, so I do not expect him to be hindered all that much. The fact that this game is on national television should also ensure that the Falcons put forth an inspired effort. Carolina has thrown up a couple of red flags, losing their last 2 contests. This team took advantage of a rather easy early schedule, and is probably not as good as their record would indicate. Their lack of a passing game has hurt them the last few weeks, and if the Atlanta defense can keep Stephen Davis relatively in check, this weakness would be exposed yet again. I am looking for the Falcons to ?win one for the Gipper (Vick)? here and record their first home victory of the season.
