The Saints look to put last week's disappointing 31-24 loss to the Bucs behind them as they face the Panthers for the third time this season in the NFC Wild Card round.

New Orleans handily won the previous two meetings with the Panthers, but Brees and the boys aren't taking Carolina lightly going into this win or go home game.

Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, teams that swept the regular-season series also won the playoff game 13 of 20 times, a 65 percent edge.

So. Cal
The refs were generally awful all weekend

Did anybody else think the int by car should have at least been reviewed?

They showed one quick replay and it sure looked like and inc pass not a int/fumble

And

Can't they review int grounding?

Last 30 seconds it sure looked like Newton was 1-2 yards outside where the RT lined up before the snap.

Oh well

Dogs go 4-0..cant complain too much.

Considering the league went to a % of full time refs their overall work was poor again this season

The saddest part being the missed and blown calls where the field judge and back judge either don't get in position or get in position and just flat out miss the call.

The league needs to get younger in the department ..Need sharp quick minds combined with speed and agility to keep up with the players who are bigger, faster, stronger and able to make plays with the new equipment[lighter and better pads and oh those stickem' gloves] that players 15 years ago couldn't make.
