Bot Appier and Valdes pitch well against each others team, and not many on each side have had success against each pitcher. Anaheim has been tough defensively and on the mound lately on their winning streak, so i expect this one to be played pretty close all the way, but when you are rolling along as the Angels are, you tend to win the close ones. I think 10.5 is too much in this spot, even at Arlington.

Note....Appier is a notorious ground ball pitcher, hence why he is successful at the Ballpark at Arlington. So it is no fluke....and I expect more of the same tonight

Good luck whatever you do, but Appier is a MAJOR buster on the road at Arlington. He's terrible in fact.

Considering the meat of the Texas order hasnt dont anything against him, that justified my play. Valdes has very good numbers as well against the Angels, but I thought that due to the Angels hot streak they could eek out a close one. Well it is low scoring and close, so we will see.

Pineiro is lights out at home....and Mulder is still trying to find himself this year. He has stated that he is having trouble with his location, and the only thing that can cure him is repetition. Well, it is the regular season, bud, you gotta have that chit worked out when they ring the bell, or you are in trouble.

The A's are struggling and I dont look for them to get out of it until they get a strong pitching performance, and it aint coming tonight

their bats have quited down as well only scoring 2 runs yesterday

i think oakland will struggle on this road trip and will be lucky

to pick up a win in this series...but i stil must root for the
