Listening to sports radio right now and they are saying it was the SEC protecting the SEC.......wild!
I was about sick, and although it didn't impact Vandy covering for the game, it sure took away a good chance for them to have a chance to win.
I've said this very same thing every since Arkansas played at Florida a few years back and the refs screwed Arkansas, which probably would have won the game if not for the wrong call, it was a call in this case on Arkansas and not a no-call like tonight.
I would love to hear what the ref has to say if called on the carpet. He doesn't need to be calling high-school football, much less calling games at this level.
How do you explain something like this. Only a few ways as I see it. Either the ref is bias, either for or against one of the teams, the game is fixed, or the implication stated here. Neither is good obviously. Okay, it was a 'judgement' call but it was so obvious; how can they continue to use this as an 'out.'
We deserve better guys. Something like this needs to go all the way to the top, league office, commissiner. There's no way to sugarcoat it. He's either in on it or he isn't, figure it out.
Is there no one(s) to police this sort of thing or anyone(s) that the conference office has to answer to and/or are they just so egotistical that they continue to think they can get away with something like this. Regardless, it sure makes Mr Slive look bad in my book!
