Not sure I've ever heard such scathing remarks from an announcer. Foley called the recently departed Karpovtsev (now with NY Islanders) the "worst excuse for a teammate" that he's seen in his 20 years of broadcasting.
Apparently, Karpovtsev looked for any excuse to ask out of a game or a practice. Foley said it was a great day because he would never see Karpovtsev in a Blackhawk uniform again.
