I seem to say it every week. Does anyone know when the last time Pats O-Line got called for holding? And, if so, when they last got called for a holding in a meaningul situation, meaning the game was still in doubt or something.

I've seen pretty many Patrot games over the last few years. I can't remember any. None.

I just despise this team ever since tuck rule. They are good, but they are handed so much, so many little things over a game that no one notices.

So far, I've seen Jets get facemask, offensive facemask, hands to the face, and a holding call. Patriots have no penalties. Go figure.

They have a good enough running game and Brady always has time. Never holding to kill a drive. Its just amazing.

I have Jets +9 and the Under tonight. The post is just b/c I hate the Pats.
I can't call a 3-time champ overrated, but man they are given so much. Not to mention they held on defense every play for years and the rule was finally enforced starting last year.

Jets are pathetic. But, on this last drive, I saw blatant holding. Would have been 2nd and 20, instead Pats pick up 3rd and 10. I saw illegal shift, not called. 2nd and 5 instead of 1st and 15.
All I'm saying (screaming) is just call something on them. Refs think Pats are perfect.
Must be nice. Screw that Patriots.

33 offensive plays in a row. One penalty. A false start that they pretty much have to call.
If they aren't committing penalties, thats fine. Just hard to believe they are the only team in the league that doesn't hold, etc.

Gee, you don't sound biased. I'm an admitted Pats fan, so yes I have bias but not the delusional bias you seem to posess. You "despise" the Patriots, lol. What could you honestly despise about this team? The fact that they are the pinnacle of class in professional sports? Or that they work as a team to achieve their goals? Or that they have a roster full of guys who care about winning and little else? Look, the Pats get away with calls, just like every other team in football. If you look for something hard enough you're going to find it. There is certainly no grand conspiracy to get the Pats wins.

Actually, I like those things about the Pats. I like that they play team ball and don't have a bunch of "me" guys that want to be stars rather than win. In theory, I love this team.
But, as I have looked deeper over the years, theres a lot more to the story.
That damn tuck rule started it all. I know its just one call, but it was an obvious fumble and the game would have been over. Not prob. over. Completely done and Raiders would have moved on. And, no, I don't like the Raiders.
So they win a Super Bowl by benefitting from a huge game changing call.
Rodney Harrison is one of the dirtiest players in the game. But, since he plays for the Pats, thats overlooked. He's a good player, but he hits late, he hits to injure. He's a dirty, dirty player.
They are a very good team and they protect the ball.

But, they don't get called for penalties. I like the Colts. Patriots held the Colt receivers every single play of the game when they beat them in playoffs. But refs won't call it. Its easy to dominate a team when you cheat. I can guard Harrison, if I can hold him

And, like this topic, the O-Line. They simply NEVER get called for holding. Are they that good? To never get called? Never?
Stuff like that is huge, but it goes un-noticed to most fans. They are very disciplined on offense and defense. A great team. But, just little things here and there. They always get the benefit of any call/no-call.

I'm just sick of them and have been. I wish there were more teams like them. That played fundamental, disciplined, team football. Theres just too much to hate with pats.

And, has nothing to do with any of my bets. Jets played like pure ass last night. But, did you notice all the penalties on Jets? And I think Pats had one. What a joke.

Main thing I like about Pats is the fact that Weis is at Notre Dame.
