Just watched this program. No medical bankruptcy in England, Japan, Germany, Swiss andTaiwan. In Japan MRI's cost $98.00 in the US it's $1200.00. Japan hospital stay, room of 4, $10.00, private room $98.00.
Taiwan they have smartcards, like creditcards, when inserted in the reader all info comes up and government is billed at same time.
Every country pays less than the US. The people are very happy with their systems. if you did not see the program, you can watch it here.
