NCAA Record: 5-4 (+3.0 units)

Virginia Tech (-10.5) at Maryland

VT's second road ACC game of the year takes them to College Park. If the results are anything like the first, this will be a romp. VT defeated Duke 45-0 in September. Since then, VT has won games 45-0 (Ohio), 51-7 (#15, Ga Tech), 34-17 (at WV), and 41-14 (Marshall). Ranked #3 in the BCS, VT has it's sites on the national championship game if either USC or Texas falter. The dynamic little Vick will cause problems all day for the Terps who have trouble against mobile QBs. Last year's VT romp over Maryland on Thursday night was at home but we see similar results tonight though Maryland may keep it close early.

Maryland's two losses were to Clemson and WV at home. The WV game was kept close until WV began moving the ball in the 3rd quarter. While the Terps have an impressive home win against UVA (45-33), no other win seems worthwhile and they looked bad in beating an average WF team 22-12.

Look for the national championship contender Hokies to roll in all aspects of the game. This one isn't even close.
