I know Peavy hasn't been lights out his past few outings, but to have him at -149 (I don't remember seeing him under -200 all season, but I could be wrong)...is this a trap?? or is it like Zambrano only being -130 a few days ago when the lines came out...?

Just curious what everyone's input about it is....thanks in advance!

You better hope he shuts them out because San Diego doesn't score much. This team is in a huge slump (pitching slump now as their offense is always in a slump). They've lost 6 out of 7 and their usually reliable bullpen has been bad lately. Personally, I wouldn't lay anywhere near 150 with Peavy on the road or even at home right now. He's been very shaky lately after his great start. GL.

The little guy is worn out. Watched his last against the Phillys. He says his bicep is not the problem but something is. Would not be surprised to see him on the DL shortly.

and not to mention or overlook he lost his best friend in team- mate Linebrink with the trade this week...

?You have to trust your front office when you are in the middle of a playoff run,? Jake Peavy said. ?But, man, to trade away your setup man . . . what kind of a message are we sending here??

?To take a hit like this . . . they must have different reasons we can't see.?

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm not looking to play the game, just wanted to know what everyone thought about it.
