Does anybody know if Pedro is on any sort of pitch count for tonight? I know he was limited to 50 or so pitches in his last start, and did not hear if he had a limit for tonight.

If so, the White Sox are tempting... Buehrle is not nearly as bad as his record indicates, and the ChiSox catch Boston travelling after a 14 inning game--with a bullie that went 8 innings yesterday.

If Buehrle steps up (yeah, big if! :) ) the White Sox catching 180 at home is very intriguing.....

Buerhle looked shaken more than at any time in his career in his last outing vs. SF. First time he publicly remarked about the booing fans. Alot of pressure on the "ace". Too many questions for me to back him here as the high price seems just about right.

Can't find any value at all in the White Sox lately

The White Sox have been one tough team to figure out...that's for sure. Buerhle especially....Konerko too. You're right Bobby, he definitely didn't have it against the Giants--but he did look very sharp a few outings ago in the Skydome. He pitched real well, but the Sox defense blew it for him...

Some guys get up for a Pedro match-up...some throw in the towel before they even get on the hill. Maybe this game will be the tonic he needs to resurrect his season? There's no way this guy is a 2-10 caliber pitcher...

If Pedro only goes 5 innings, and Buerhle can match him...I think Chicago has a decent shot to hit that Boston 'pen. I'm not a fan of Rupe at all.....and as we said, the rest of the pen threw 8 innings yesterday, while the White Sox pen is relatively fresh.

On ESPN news they anounced he would throw around 80 pitches tonight, around 5-6 inning's.

Best line for game....
