Some of the chit I see amazes me. I was at a simulcast parlor and while on my way out I walked past an older man with 2 little girls. I assume they are his grand daughters. One of them asks him a question while a race is on. He told her to shut up. It was almost the end of the race. He lost his bet and told the girl it was her fault. The little girl then had a sad face. I didn't say anything to him, but just felt bad. Why do people bring their kids to the track? Well this was a similuscasting parlor. Why bring them there. The same day a couple had a big stroller there blocking an aisle. Ok, back to why bring your child to the track. If there are live races, ok, I could understand it on a rare occasion to see the "horsies". Maybe if you are affiliated with a driver, owner, etc. ok, I see. Babies crying at the race track aren't good. Kids are skating around the main wagering/bar area with these skates that come out of their sneakers.
Yes, I know I could just stay at home and bet, so I don't need this tip.

Thanks

Kids and families are part of the scene at the summer fair tracks...but I agree, they need to keep the kids out of the betting parlors, satellites, etc.
