Still feeling very proud this morning after my son hit his first outside the park home run to dead center field last night. Just barely got over the center fielder who jumped up for it, but it cleared the fence and the rest is history. Luckily I was able to retrieve the ball for the Hall of Fame (just in case) in future years...

Made me very proud, he's worked hard on his game and it has paid off. His team capped off a great season, only losing one conference game - a shortened one - in their freshman season. A great bunch of kids, and one proud dad here. No rest for the wicked - we start summer Babe Ruth practice tonight...

Hard to tell, Wayne - he was riding pretty high coming around 3rd base with all the guys high-fiving him - but I'm still smiling today - so, not sure. Just noticed that I typed the word proud 3 times in my post - did you guys notice that I'm proud... sheesh...
